The UGC has awarded Academic Autonomy to P.E.S. College of Engineering, Nagsenvana, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar from Academic Year 2025-26 for UG and PG programs. Thus, the establishment of Examination Cell took place and it started working independently as a part of Autonomy. This allowed the Institute to prescribe its Academic Calendar, design its own structure and syllabi, conduct examinations, carry out Assessment/Evaluation and declare the results. Under the Autonomy, the degree is awarded by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere to the Graduates/Post graduates after successful completion of the Program.

The examination system should be fair, efficient, reliable and transparent. Exam cell is planned to smooth conduct of examinations and timely declaration of results, within 20 days after conduct of exam. The institute has taken several initiatives to ensure better standards and improve accuracy, efficiency and transparency in the conduct and declaration of results of examinations. Steps are taken to ensure better accuracy and efficiency in paper setting, conduct of the examination, evaluation of answer books, entry of marks on the answer books, mark lists, ledgers and Grade cards.
